The article presents the problem of synthesizing the trajectory of load movement when bypassing an obstacle. The trajectory was obtained on the basis of the requirement for a smooth change in the direction of the load movement. Based on the discrete positions of the load, the position of the links of the mechanisms of the tower crane slewing and trolley movement was found. The laws of changing the speed of movement of these mechanisms were obtained. The results obtained at each iteration of the calculation were analyzed, and it was established that the final result satisfies the requirements for the smoothness of the movement of the load, provides smooth acceleration and deceleration of the mechanisms, which is confirmed by graphic dependencies and numerical data
