Aims and Scope

Original contributions of a high academic standard are invited from a wide range of disciplines and fields, including:

  • Biology: Research in the fields of biodiversity, genetics, physiology, and ecology of organisms, which form the basis for developing new methods of conservation and rational use of bioresources.
  • Ecology: Study of ecosystems, environmental protection, sustainable natural resource management, and adaptive strategies to climate change.
  • Biotechnology and Bioengineering: Development of innovative technologies to enhance the efficiency of bioresource use, particularly in genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics.
  • Agronomy: Research aimed at increasing the productivity of agricultural crops, optimising agricultural technologies, and rational use of soil resources.
  • Technology of Livestock Production and Processing: Innovative approaches to improving the efficiency and quality of livestock production, considering ecological and economic aspects.
  • Forestry: Study of sustainable forest resource management methods, forest conservation, and their role in the global carbon cycle.
  • Landscape and Park Management: Research on the planning, creation, and maintenance of green spaces to improve environmental conditions in urbanised areas.
  • Veterinary Medicine: Study of animal diseases, development of diagnostic, treatment, and prevention methods to ensure the health of bioresources.
  • Veterinary Hygiene, Sanitation, and Expertise: Development of standards and methods to ensure the safety of livestock products for consumers.

The Editorial Board informs readers that, from Vol. 22, No. 4, 2026, the journal no longer publishes articles in the following subject areas:

  • Automation: systems and technologies for controlling industrial processes and equipment, utilizing sensors, actuators, control algorithms, and software to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability.
  • Applied Mechanics and Industrial Mechanical Engineering: Study of statics, dynamics, and mechanics of materials, innovations in field of development and improvement of machinery and mechanisms, implementation of engineering management for agricultural production and environmental protection, which increase the efficiency of use of bioresources.
